Galerie Magda Danysz championed urban art within the French gallery system and became the first international gallery to open in Shanghai. Entropy, held from 23 June to 28 July 2012 when Vhils was 25, was his first solo exhibition in France and extended into five carved street works across Paris. Anonymous local faces cut from ordinary façades give the city's unnamed residents a monumental place within its own material.
