The inaugural edition of the Milestone Project introduced Vhils' carved wall practice to Girona, through a permanent work installed on Carrer de Palamós. Produced over two days in July 2012, the portrait was developed directly into an existing masonry wall, extending an approach that had recently begun to define the Scratching the Surface series.
