New York was one of the six cities in Hennessy's 'Making the Invisible Visible' campaign of 2018, alongside London, Johannesburg, Ho Chi Minh City, Moscow and Chicago. In each, Vhils carved a large-scale portrait of a figure from the local music scene. The sitter for the New York wall is unidentified.
