Three unnumbered works from the Ataxia Series, published together by the artist under the series heading in the 2013 block of his website's Wood section. Portraits are carved through the varnish and paint of salvaged panelled doors — keyholes and doorknobs intact — framed by interlocking reclaimed panels painted with chevron, pinwheel and checkerboard patterns that transpose the Lisbon tile-pattern vocabulary to reclaimed carpentry. The archive holds the numbered siblings Ataxia Series #03, #04, #08 and #12 separately; these pieces match none of them and their numbers were not published.
