A fragmented portrait emerges from salvaged wooden doors and panels, the sitter's eye and mouth hand-carved directly into the weathered grain alongside checkerboard tile patterns and a comic-book "AMAZ" fragment. Vhils assembles the reclaimed surfaces into a relief whose domestic patina and incised cuts double as the face's own erosion.
