Truth is an early mixed-media installation the artist presented at Visual Street Performance II, the 2006 edition of the Lisbon street-art event, held at Espaço Interpress in Bairro Alto. Staged across freestanding white wall panels within an industrial hall, it combined a black stencil collage — an elderly face, foliage silhouettes and a concentric target motif swept by a mass of brown bleach drips — with a panoramic cityscape of tower blocks and a boat-lined waterfront rendered in the same bleach technique, alongside two mounted canvases. The piece dates from the artist's formative exhibition period, when his signature bleach-and-stencil language on found surfaces was taking shape.
