Portrait of Siobhan Bell

In the Old Truman Brewery's Brick Lane Food Hall, at 152 Brick Lane, this portrait of Siobhan Bell went up in Shoreditch in October 2018, the eighth V.S artist collaboration in the Making the Invisible Visible series, which honours people whose work quietly shapes a city's cultural landscape from behind the scenes. Bell is a London DJ, producer and model whose work runs through the city's nightlife and fashion networks. Vhils carved her portrait directly into the building's surface, giving lasting visibility to an influence built through music, community and the circulation of ideas, not monuments.
