For the Hyundai Card Music Library in Seoul, Vhils created two permanent interventions integrated into the building's architecture in 2015. A large-scale torn-poster composition occupies the upper-level reading space, while a carved relief anchors the entrance to the Understage performance venue below. Designed by Choi Moon-kyu as a library dedicated to recorded music and holding over 10,000 vinyl records, the building brings together architecture, sound and visual art, allowing Vhils' work to respond to the layered histories of both the site and the music preserved within it.
