Why Is Urban Art Now? — From Bangucheon to Urban Art ran 27 June – 27 October 2024 at the new Ulsan Art Museum, Ulsan. The group exhibition took the prehistoric Bangudae Petroglyphs, a UNESCO World Heritage candidate site near Ulsan, as its starting point, framing urban art as a continuation of the impulse to mark the surface of the world through subtraction and erosion. The opening included a live graffiti session by JonOne, who painted the exterior of a Hyundai car on site. Over its four-month run the show drew more than 40,000 visitors. Vhils returned to the museum in August 2025 with the solo exhibition "Graphium." Co-curated by Vhils and POMONA.
