Urban [R]Evolution (21 June – 3 December 2023) was staged at the Torreão Nascente da Cordoaria Nacional, Lisbon, organised by Underdogs in partnership with Everything is New, co-curated by Pauline Foessel and Pedro Alonzo. Across 4,000 m², eighteen artists — half Portuguese, half international — built in-situ installations tracing urban art's evolution from 1980s New York graffiti to paste-up, sculpture, digital and photography. Martha Cooper's photography ran through the show as its documentary backbone, with around 60 large-format prints (2 × 1.5 m). Outside the Cordoaria, Shepard Fairey and Add Fuel installed works on the riverfront. For most international artists, this was their first showing in Portugal.
