A portrait produced through oxidation on a metal plate: an ageing face with downcast, hollowed eyes surfaces from fields of rust, with pale streaks tracing the ridge of the nose and the underside of each eye. A small black tree-shaped stamp, an early mark used by the artist, sits at the lower left of the plate. The work belongs to the same early series of oxidation portraits on metal as Fade Series #03 and was published untitled in the Metals section of the artist's Cargo Collective site.
