In November 2013, Vhils carved a monumental portrait into the façade of the residential building at Via Nizza 50, in Turin's San Salvario district, for NizzArt — a project turning Via Nizza into an open-air route for contemporary art through collaborations between local institutions, residents and international artists. The figure was based on a photograph Vhils took of an anonymous person during a journey through Mexico.
