Linha do Tempo — Coleção António Cachola

Linha do Tempo (10 July – 10 October 2021) was a group exhibition of 67 works by 35 artists from the Coleção António Cachola, presented at the Centro de Artes de Sines under the curation of architect Ricardo Estevam Pereira. Co-organised by the Câmara Municipal de Sines, the Câmara Municipal de Elvas, and the Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Elvas (MACE). The Coleção António Cachola is one of the most important private collections of contemporary Portuguese art, built since the early 1990s and held in deposit at MACE since 2007. The selection traced the last 30 years of plastic research in Portugal, framing time not as a clock-measured interval but as something felt and equated by the human being.
